Child Development

Feeding them physically & spiritually

In developing countries, children often face malnutrition, lack of education, and violence that impacts their safety and development. Our child development programs help at-risk children receive nutritious meals, education, and hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Additionally, these children are discipled as they grow in their character and spiritual formation.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 19:14

Haiti

In Haiti there is no free public education, which is why our child development program, Mercy Kidz, is such a blessing. Sponsorship provides hundreds of children the opportunity to attend Christian school where they hear the message of Christ and are discipled as they grow in their relationship with Him.

Haitians are very communal and care deeply for friends, family, and neighbors. Families often take care for children whose parents are non-present, ill, or have passed away. This creates and every larger burden on their ability to pay for school. Mercy Kidz sponsors help ease this burden. Sponsors become partners with parents who provide school uniforms for their child, oversee homework, and ensure regular school attendance. Pastors and Christian teachers model Christ daily in the school and classroom.

When children have hope in Jesus, that hope impacts their families, communities, and grow them to become future Christian leaders. A country steeped in voodoo; Haiti vitally needs Christian leadership. Won’t you join us today to impact a life, one child at a time?

South Asia

There is a crisis happening in South Asia where children have become the target of extremely radical groups. This has made these marginalized children even more vulnerable. We are working together with our long-term partner on the ground to bring these children to safety. Their families are experiencing extreme persecution while living in extreme poverty; only making about 50 cents a day during farming season. These parents are being targeted, and their children ages 4-12 are being recruited and forced under false pretenses to be child brides or sent to extremist military camps. The situation has become dire with thousands of persecuted and recruited being murdered each year. 500 children in this area have already been rescued and provided safety, education, food, clothing, and life skills training in safely protected children’s homes located across South Asia. Together with our partners we are working to bring 500 more children to safety, providing hope for their futures and for their families. For $50 a month you can provide everything needed to save and sustain the life of one child in South Asia.
